02What data we collect and how

We collect the data you give us to ask for a quote or make an inquiry, plus some technical data about your visit. It depends on how you reach us:

Google ad lead forms

If you fill out a form inside a Google Ads ad, Google passes us what you entered: your name, phone number, city, your email if the form asks for it, and your answers to the form’s questions.

The website estimator

Our estimator (in Spanish) asks for your name or company name, a phone number or email, and the delivery city. As soon as you fill them in, we save the inquiry in our database, even if you never send it on WhatsApp. Along with your details we save:

  • the parts you entered —thickness, dimensions, quantity and bending— and the weight, sheets and price the estimator calculated;
  • if you used a DXF drawing, the file name and the dimensions we read from it. The drawing is read in your browser: the file is not uploaded to our servers;
  • if you came from an ad, the Google Ads (gclid) or Meta (fbclid) click identifier;
  • which page or button took you to the estimator, and which browser and operating system you use;
  • whether you then sent the estimate on WhatsApp or downloaded the PDF, and when.

WhatsApp and email

If you message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive your number or email address, the name you appear under, and whatever you send us: messages, photos, drawings or other files. If you send an estimate from the website, the message already includes your details and the parts you entered.

Browsing data

Like any website, we record technical data about your visit —for example, the pages you view and your IP address— using the tools described in Cookies and analytics.

Giving us your data is voluntary. Without a name and a phone number or email we can’t get back to you, and if any detail is wrong we may not be able to reach you or the quote may not fit what you need.

03What we use it for

  • To answer your inquiry and prepare a quote.
  • To coordinate the job, delivery and shipping if you go ahead with the order.
  • To measure which ads and campaigns bring in inquiries and sales, so we know where to invest. For that we use the click identifier (gclid or fbclid): with it we can tell Google Ads or Meta which inquiries ended in a sale.

We only use your data for these purposes. We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties for commercial purposes.

04Who we share it with

Only with the providers we need to operate, and only what each one needs for its part:

  • Vercel, which hosts this website and processes estimator submissions. Like any server, it logs technical data about each visit, such as the IP address.
  • Supabase, which hosts the database where we store estimator inquiries.
  • Google (Google Ads, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager), for ad lead forms and campaign measurement.
  • Meta, for WhatsApp and for measuring ads on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Our email provider, when you email us.
  • The shipping company you choose —for example, Via Cargo— when something is shipped: we give them your name, phone number and delivery details.

Each of them handles the data under its own privacy policy. Some process it on servers outside Argentina, for example in the United States; by sending us your data, you consent to that transfer.

We may also have to disclose data if a competent authority requires it under the law.

05How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to answer your inquiry, do the job and handle any later claims or warranties, and for the periods that tax and commercial regulations set for sales records. When it is no longer needed, we delete it.

If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will, except for data a law requires us to keep.

06How we protect it

  • The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
  • Estimator inquiries are saved from our server, with a key that never reaches your browser, in a database with restricted permissions: nobody can read the list of inquiries from the website.
  • Only the people on our team who need it to serve you have access.

No system is infallible, but these measures reduce the risk of anyone accessing your data without permission.

07Your rights

Under Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326, you can ask us, free of charge, for:

  • Access: to know what data we hold about you and where it came from.
  • Rectification and update: to correct or complete data that is wrong or out of date.
  • Deletion: to delete your data.

Email ventasplasmart@transfil.com.ar telling us what you want to do, from the email address or with the phone number you used to contact us, so we can confirm it’s you. We answer access requests within 10 calendar days and rectification, update or deletion requests within 5 business days, as the law requires.

Mandatory notice · AAIP Resolution 14/2018 · original in Spanish

Translation: The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, as provided in Article 14, subsection 3 of Law No. 25,326. The AGENCY FOR ACCESS TO PUBLIC INFORMATION, as the Supervisory Authority of Law No. 25,326, has the power to handle complaints and claims filed by anyone whose rights are affected by non-compliance with the regulations in force on personal data protection.

If you think we didn’t handle your request properly, you can file a complaint with Argentina’s Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP) at argentina.gob.ar/aaip.

08Cookies and analytics tools

The website loads these tools, which may store cookies or similar identifiers in your browser:

  • Google Tag Manager, which manages and loads Google’s tools.
  • Google Analytics, to know how many people visit the website, where they come from and which pages and buttons they use.
  • Google Ads, to measure which ads lead to an inquiry.
  • Meta Pixel, to measure visits and inquiries coming from ads on Facebook and Instagram.

These tools record what happens during the visit —pages viewed, buttons you tap, your IP address, device and browser— and link it to identifiers stored in cookies. When you tap a WhatsApp button, you go through an intermediate page that records the click before opening the chat. Google and Meta use this information under their own policies: how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Meta’s privacy policy.

The website also stores a few markers of its own in your browser, which don’t include your name or contact details: when you last tapped WhatsApp or used the estimator, so the same inquiry isn’t counted twice in one day, and the ad you came from, only while the tab stays open.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and some of the website’s libraries from cdnjs and unpkg. As with any request to a server, those services receive your IP address.

To limit all this, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and choose which ads you see in Google’s My Ad Center and in the ad settings of your Facebook or Instagram account.

09Changes to this policy

If the way we use your data changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. The current version is always the one published here.
